Discovery D has decided what we are spending our newspaper money on. $6.84 is our total now, just totaled by Alivia Britton, layout person.We are going to spend it on reinvesting, which is what you do when you upgrade your store. We will do this first. Then, we will save for a new playground.
The children of Discovery D are partnering to create a school newspaper named the CDC Press. They identified children, parents, grandparents, teachers and the principal as audiences for their published newspaper. What’s going on in Disovery E, hmmmmm…well, we’re doing purpose plays. Its very exciting. I did one with my friend Angelice. We also are doing multiplacation math problems. It’s very fun. I am great at it.
Right now, the 4th graders in Discovery E are learning about the Distributive Property and Multiplication. We have also been working on Force and Gravity. Fall Festival was great,we had a good time. My favorite thing was the memory game where we found the spiders. Shiah liked Ollie Windston a.k.a. Calvin Camorod. I had U OF M stripes drawn on my face at the face painting station. My friend Shiah did not get anything on his face.
It was a great experience. It was a chance for all the discoveries to get out and enjoy nature and the Fall Season. Thanks to all the helpers at the festival who made it possible to have all the fun!
